NOOOOOOOOOOOO Limit

I really do enjoy playing all the games, but you have to go where the money is for now, which is of couse no limit hold'em. I mean the 1/2NL game at the RiverRock is just so bad I really think I could teach an intellegent person in a week or so how to easily beat the game. I hope one day to be able to play higher limit mixed games and such but for now I'll stick to a game too easy to pass up. I played a few more sessions since my last blog and my stats look like this afterwards (5 posts before this post are all my other sessions this summer):

Date: Stakes: Time (hours): Result: Total Time: Total: Wage:

7/1/2006 1/2NL 4 $400.00 91.5 $4,455.00 $37.76
7/4/2006 1/2NL 4.5 $405.00 96 $4,860.00 $40.21
7/7/2006 1/2NL 6 $295.00 102 $5,155.00 $40.74

Total Profit: $4155
Total Hours: 102
Hourly Wage: $40.74

Session 1: One interesting hand here. I get dealt 33 UTG+2. To avoid getting reraised and not seeing a flop I limp in and hope to see the flop or only face a $15 raise where his stack is deep enough I can see the flop. Well someones raises to $7 and we go 5 handed to the flop. Well the flop is a suprising 3 3 4 raindow, but the pot is only $35 and I am $380-ish deep with the player to my left covering me and no one else having more then $100. Well it checks to me and I check to the man who has me covered and is last to act. He bets a suprising $35. Everyone folds to me and I call. the turn is a 5 and I check again. He bets $60 and I make it $160. He almost folds, which leads me to start giving off some false tells that I am nervous or scared. It works and he changes his mind, calls, and the river is a 9. Well I push in for $190 more and immiedetly start trying to shake and look as nervous as possible. He calls me in 5 seconds and I take down a $800+ pot. He later he said he had 1010, which was hard for me to believe as he did not raise preflop but whatever.

Session 2: I had been playing for about 3 hours when the crazy old guy from the previous post walked in and I immediately asked to be moved to his table. It only took me 30 or so minutes to win a nice pot of him that went like this. I limped in one off the button with 6 9o looking to hit a huge flop with the old man who had also limped in. The flop was x 10 7 and it checked to me and five or so people checked to me. If the pot was bigger I would try to semi-bluff here but it was so small I simply took one off praying for an 8. Off rolls the 8 and the guy two to my right bets 20. I make it 60 and it folds back to the old man leaving him, the better, and me. He counts it out and calls as does the better after something alot of frustration (he told me he had Q 9 later). The river was a K and it checked to me and I happily pushed in hoping for the old man to call with a K or 10. Well he counted it out and called me with a pair of tens I was later told. Ship the $450+ pot to me please.

Session 3: Wow this one was frustrating. Fifth hand in I had AJh on a J 3h 4h flop all in against AJ0 for $200 and missed my first freeroll. Then I had 46c on a K 2c 3 5c board where I got it all in with two people one had KK and had let me and another guy with 4 6 get there VERY cheaply (he only had $40 and had limped in and bet $2 on the flop LOOOL). Well the thir gu had me covered and called my $250+ reraise on the turn after he bet $100. However, missed that freeroll again and chopped the pot. Finally, I had 44 on the button. Called a $20 raise as did the SB and BB. We took it 4 ways to see a 3 4 6 flop. I was so happy and I didnt see anyone calling with 52 or 57 pre and it checked to me on the flop. So I bet out $50 quickly and forcefully as if I was bluffing and only the sb called me. A 9 rolled off and he led at me $150 and I happily pushed in for $110 more. He called and turned over the 5 7 of diamonds and I missed as I always do when I am behind :-). I really hate the play of my opponent here as he took the bluff away from me when he had the nuts and feel he was lucky I had one of the few hands I would pay him off with but whatever nh sir.

I moved to another table that had a huge fish i had played wiht before on it. I doubled off him with JJ v Ak on a 33 4 flop he called my all-in after calling my $40 reraise pre. I hovered at $400-$440 when I found the monster 78d on the button with a few limpers I made it $12. 3 called including me fish. We saw a flop of 4s 9d 10d...beautiful :-). Time to" gamble" baby (I know I am fav but still lol). Well first to act a woman pushed for $40, the fish called $40 and the player to my right went in for $159. Well the fish still had $300 plus behind and I didnt want him out so I called on the button. He folded and I waited to see if I would miss another draw, although a huge one this time. Well the turn was a 5c and the river a beautiful 6c. Ship the $730+ pot please.

So those are my results so far. GL at the tables all I am off to the 1/2NL game for a bit.
